My only gripe: I found the bass drum lacking any resonance - sounded like the player was told to play it secco. That unfortunately made it sound like a cardboard box.
The technical ability of the players in that performance of Tchaikovsky is certainly beyond reproach. However for my taste, the overall sound of the ensemble is far too "in your face" and strident.
